T171 you, your computer and the net is
an online Open
University (OU) course. The course is run online and with the assistance
of an online tutor. The course consists of three modules and a final
assessment or (ECA). And includes participation in a online community and
group work. The aim of the course is to teach students, especially those who
have not studied for some time, how to use computers confidently, the history
of the Personal Computer (PC) and how it was developed and the history of the
Internet and how that was developed. The course also provides the students
with the basic skills, such as essay-writing or writing reports, to enable
them to carry on further studies with the OU. This web site is the final part
of my T171 course and it's called the End Of Course Assignment (ECA) and
covers the majority of topics that I have learnt over the past 10 months.
